Our Technology

Strength, stability and durability

Our double tubular frame forms the foundation of our design, delivering outstanding frame strength. It allows us to create the Hollowbridge™ that delivers a stable, durable racket frame with a large sweet spot.

Lightweight Manoeuvrability

The Hollowbridge™ frame design decreases weight giving the rackets great manoeuvrability and helping reduce player reaction times. The rackets range from 330g to 355g which is significantly lighter than a typical 360-370g racket. This results in less stress and fatigue on the arms.

Power

We use high quality carbon fibre on the racket face. All Bas3line rackets use either a 3k, 12k or 15k carbon fibre which allows the rackets to deliver the right level of power to suit a player’s preferred style, despite the lighter weight of the rackets.

Low vibration, feel and control

All the foams inside the rackets are selected to reduce the vibration levels from shots through the player’s arm. We use different foam densities to change the feel of the rackets. The careful pairing of foams and carbon fibre deliver different combinations of power and control.

Extra spin

The rackets are designed with a 3D spin surface on the face which delivers extra spin when you cut across the ball. The extra spin creates extra control when you need it and helps keeps the ball low off the glass.

Consistency and precision

Our double tubular frame construction gives the rackets a larger and more consistent sweet spot. That consistency delivers greater accuracy and precision even from shots that are the off-centre.

Tailoring to a player’s style

We use a slightly head-heavy balance for rackets that suit a more attacking style such as the Nova and Juno. We adjust the balance to be slightly head-light for those rackets that focus on increased control versus power such as the Orion and Astra. The Vega and Nebula have neutral balance points.
