Andrew Holgate

Andrew is a coach, club manager and competitive player, already competing across the UK and internationally in Italy and Romania within his first year of playing padel.

Before discovering padel, Andrew competed at elite level in rugby, becoming the first Filipino to score an international try — and, by his own admission, the first to get injured in the same match. He has also enjoyed a successful boxing career and earned a volleyball scholarship, giving him an athletic foundation that translates naturally onto the court.

Playing on the left side, Andrew brings an aggressive, creative style built around movement and instinct. He is always looking to take control of points and has a reputation for producing unexpected shots — particularly his trademark side boast.

Andrew currently competes in LTA events and plays with the BAS3LINE NOVA, and still can’t quite believe how something so light can generate that level of power.  Off court, he is also a UK partner for a Spanish training camp in Alicante, helping connect players with high-quality coaching experiences.

Victor Aguirre Miñarro

Victor discovered padel in his hometown of Málaga before continuing his journey through Austria and the UK, giving him a strong connection to the sport’s traditional heartland alongside an international perspective.

A regular competitor at Grade 3 and Grade 4 level, Victor is comfortable playing on both sides of the court. His game is built around intelligent decision-making, controlled aggression and an instinctive understanding of when to apply pressure. He is currently focused on improving the physical side of his performance, particularly conditioning, strength and footwork.

Victor uses a range of Bas3line rackets depending on the occasion, competing primarily with the BAS3LINE ORION  and VEGA for competition, while choosing the BAS3LINE ASTRA for coaching thanks to its lightweight, arm-friendly feel.

David Vazquez

Although David has been playing padel for around six years, the sport has been part of his life for much longer thanks to his Argentinian family background. Today, he works and coaches at SPC, where padel is very much a full-time passion.

Unlike many players, David came to padel without a racket sports background, having previously played football and American football. Since then, he has developed into a strong club competitor, with his proudest achievement being winning the inaugural SPC World Cup.

Playing on the left side, David’s game is built around movement, anticipation and reading the play. His ability to predict opponents’ shots often sees him positioned at the net looking to turn defence into attack and occasionally pull off a cheeky dormilona. He’s currently working on improving his overheads, although Aston Deva-Nix would probably tell you there’s still work to do on the smash.

David plays with the BAS3LINE JUNO, which he describes as the best racket he has ever played with. It gives him the lightweight feel he needs for long coaching days while still providing the control and confidence he wants in competition.

Her game is built around aggressive net play, confident volleying and effective víboras. While naturally attack-minded, she is currently focused on developing the defensive side of her game, particularly her use of the glass.

Alongside playing, Marco is the founder of Padel Holidays, bringing players together through padel experiences and training trips. The project reflects his belief that some of the best parts of the sport happen both on and off the court.

After focusing primarily on coaching and community-building, Marco is now placing renewed emphasis on competition and tournament play. He is currently working on improving his footwork and overhead game as he looks to add more attacking options to his natural defensive style.

Marco plays with the BAS3LINE VEGA which allows him to train and compete for long hours while maintaining the comfort and performance he needs on court.

Brent Gilpin

Known across the UK circuit as The Padel Physio, Brent has been playing padel for almost two years and quickly became immersed in the sport. With a background in tennis and racket-sport events, he brought strong foundations into padel and has since built a dual role as both a competitive player and trusted performance specialist.

Brent regularly supports players at major FIP tournaments across the UK and was part of the support team for the Great Britain squad at the European Championships. Alongside his work off the court, he continues to compete and develop his own game.

His style is built around resilience, defence and refusing to give points away. Currently focused on tactics, footwork and patterns of play, he enjoys the strategic side of the sport as much as the physical challenge.

Having recently switched to the BAS3LINE NOVA, Brent loves the extra power it brings to his glass play and kick smash.

Pablo Moreno

Pablo has been playing padel for over 25 years, first discovering the sport in Spain in the early 2000s. With a strong tennis background stretching from childhood through his late teens, he brings extensive racket-sport experience and game understanding to the court.

Alongside competing, Pablo works as an LTA Level 2 accredited coach, delivering sessions independently at Padel4all Lockleaze and David Lloyd Westbury. His competitive achievements include victories in local events and LTA Level 4 tournaments.

Primarily a backhand-side player, Pablo’s game is built around intelligent point construction, strong anticipation and disciplined execution. He is currently focused on continuing to develop the defensive side of his game.

Pablo plays with the BAS3LINE NEBULA which allows him to compete and coach comfortably while managing long-standing tennis elbow. The combination of performance and comfort has helped him stay on court and continue enjoying the sport he has played for more than two decades.

Andy Williams

Andy has been playing padel for two years and is actively involved in the sport as both a coach and assistant club manager. Despite coming to the game without a racket sports background, he quickly developed a passion for padel and now spends much of his time helping others improve their game.

Before padel, Andy’s sporting focus was football and bodybuilding, giving him a strong athletic foundation that translates naturally onto the court.

Playing on the right side, Andy’s game is built around court coverage, tactical awareness and consistency. While happy constructing points patiently, he is always looking for opportunities to bring his smash into play.

Andy plays with the BAS3LINE NEBULA, appreciating its lightweight feel and manoeuvrability, sometimes chosing the BAS3LINE VEGA for competitions. Having experienced shoulder injuries in the past he values being able to play and coach comfortably without placing unnecessary strain on his arm.

Serge Erkaslan

Serge discovered padel less than two years ago after his brother persuaded him to give it a try at Hazelwood Tennis Club. Like many players, he was hooked from the very first session and quickly became obsessed with the sport.

Best known for creating light-hearted padel content, Serge has built a following by helping players laugh at the game while sharing the ups and downs of his own journey on court. His aim is simple: make people smile, while occasionally making them think, “he’s actually not bad.”

Before padel, Serge played semi-professional football and having never played a racket sport before, he relies on anticipation, movement and defensive resilience to stay competitive.

Still chasing his first tournament title after five runner-up finishes, Serge is focused on developing the attacking side of his game. He plays with a BAS3LINE JUNO, loving its manoeuvrability — “it makes me feel like a Jedi with a light sabre.” In his own words, he’s nowhere near the finished article.
