Alfonso Patacho
Alfonso Patacho is one of the standout names on the UK padel scene, blending competitive pedigree with growing international experience. A long-time Great Britain team member, he has established himself as a consistent force in both domestic and international competition, regularly featuring in major events and representing GB at the FIP Euro Padel Cup Final 8. His international career highlights include two bronze medals with Great Britain — at the 2015 Junior World Championships and the 2019 European Championships with the senior team.
A regular winner on the LTA Padel British Tour, Alfonso’s tactical intelligence and speed on court make him a difficult opponent, and his presence has helped elevate the competitive depth of UK padel. Comfortable playing in multiple positions, he is known for his resilient defence, shot precision and ability to raise his level in high-pressure moments.
Alongside his playing career, Alfonso is a highly regarded coach, working primarily at Rocket Padel Battersea, and contributes to the sport as an ambassador, sharing his experience with players of all levels. He currently plays with the BAS3LINE NOVA, a racket that complements his powerful, all-court game.

Karla Popovic
Karla has been playing padel for three years and competes actively at The Queen’s Club, where she regularly takes part in the club championships in both women’s and mixed doubles, alongside occasional appearances in LTA tournaments. A former professional tennis player and Division 1 collegiate athlete in the United States, she brings a high-performance mindset and strong technical foundations to the sport.
Comfortable on both sides of the court, Karla typically plays on the left in women’s doubles and on the right in mixed competition. Naturally aggressive and composed at the net, her game is built around confident volleying and effective víboras. While her attacking instincts are a key strength, her current focus is on developing her defensive play, particularly shots off the glass, to further round out her game.
Drawn to padel for its social and inclusive nature, she values how the sport combines competitiveness with enjoyment across all levels. Having played with BAS3LINE rackets since the very start of her padel journey, she now competes with the BAS3LINE NOVA loving the level of aggression it enables whilst still maintaining excellent control and precision. Karla is proud to have been part of the BAS3LINE story from the beginning and to continue representing the brand on and off the court.

Nico Benitez
Nico combines regular UK competition with running Fast4Padel, an amateur circuit attracting hundreds of players and organising Padel boot camps with experienced coaches in Spain.
He trains regularly with top 50 UK players and is focused on climbing the rankings through 2026. Footwork and agility are his current areas of focus, complementing his strategic approach. His study of the game helps him to understand the patterns within rallies and choosing the right moment to attack.
Alongside his competitive goals, Nico values the culture around the sport; “The community is genuinely welcoming and competitive in the right way. People want to improve, enjoy the game and support each other, which makes the sport feel very accessible.”

Siân Payne
Sian has been playing padel regularly for the past year and has already established herself as one of the leading players on the UK circuit. A former international-level tennis player, she transitioned quickly into padel and now competes as a professional, combining high-level athleticism with an increasingly sophisticated tactical game.
Currently ranked 23 nationally, Sian is beginning to compete internationally on the FIP Tour, with recent highlights including quarter-final appearances at both a FIP Bronze event and the National Championships. Comfortable on both sides of the court, she has recently been playing more from the forehand side, where her aggressive net play and ability to finish points with volleys, viboras and smashes are key strengths.
In training, her focus is on developing the tactical and defensive aspects of her game to complement her attacking instincts. Drawn to padel for its welcoming and social culture, she values the sport’s ability to bring together players from diverse sporting backgrounds. Playing with a BAS3LINE JUNO racket, she values its lightweight feel and balance of control and power, the added manoeuvrability gives her an edge at highest level.

Sebastian Clelland
Sebastian has progressed rapidly since discovering padel 18 months ago, moving from casual play into regular LTA competition within his first year. A former national-level tennis player, he brings a strong tactical foundation to the court and now competes consistently on the UK circuit, primarily from the right-hand side.
Currently ranked 242 in the UK, his focus for 2026 is breaking into the top 100. Recent performances, including a narrow Grade 2 loss to top-50 opposition, have reinforced his belief that he can compete at the highest level. Known for his consistency, defensive awareness and proactive shot selection, he prides himself on building points with intent and understanding patterns within rallies.
Off the court, he values the community around the sport, particularly the environment built at TruePadel, where his padel journey began. Playing with the BAS3LINE VEGA, he values its balance of control, spin and manoeuvrability, allowing him to defend aggressively while developing his attacking game from the right.

Niklas Johansson
Niklas has been playing padel since 2022, having previously explored a wide range of racket sports including competitive table tennis, squash, badminton and tennis. After years of experimentation, padel quickly stood out as the sport that best matched both his playing style and competitive mindset.
He competes regularly at amateur level in the UK, where he has typically ranked between 150 and 200, and has also been involved in the sport beyond competition as a minority owner in a padel-centre business in Czechia. Niklas previously held the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon padel match and continues to hold the equivalent record in pickleball.
Comfortable on both sides of the court, he adapts his position depending on partner and opposition, valuing the broader tactical understanding this brings. He is drawn to padel’s balance of competitiveness and sportsmanship, where intensity on court is matched by camaraderie off it. Playing with a BAS3LINE VEGA racket has allowed him to perform pain-free after long-term forearm and shoulder issues, without compromising performance, supporting a game built on energy, physicality and enjoyment.

Liz Rozin
Liz has been playing padel for two years and has already established herself across the competitive spectrum, playing regularly at local, national and international level. A former Division 1 tennis player in the United States, she brings a high-performance background and strong technical foundations to her padel game.
Primarily a left-side player, Liz is known for her aggressive net presence and ability to control points through sharp, varied volleys. One of her proudest competitive moments came at a FIP Bronze event, where she reached the quarterfinals after defeating the top Austrian pair alongside fellow BAS3LINE ambassador Siân.
In training, her focus is on developing greater patience and tactical discipline, believing that smarter, more composed play will unlock the next level of her game. Drawn to padel for its social reach and the opportunities it creates, she values the connections formed through the sport. Playing with the BAS3LINE JUNO, a racket she helped name, she appreciates its lightweight manoeuvrability, control at the net, and finishing power. Looking ahead, Liz plans to travel extensively for FIP tournaments, improve her ranking and represent Canada on the international stage.

Marco Iurza
Marco has been playing padel for over four years, building on a strong technical foundation developed through tennis from an early age. He now competes regularly at club level, primarily on the right-hand side, where his game is built around defensive solidity and an ability to disrupt opponents through variation and unpredictability.
Alongside his time on court, he is the founder of Padel Holidays, a travel and community-led platform designed to bring players together through shared padel experiences. The project reflects his belief that the sport is as much about connection and enjoyment as competition.
While he has played competitively to date, 2026 marks a renewed focus on tournament play, with the goal of consistently testing himself in competition and targeting success at Grade 4 level. Currently working on improving overhead efficiency and footwork, he aims to apply greater attacking pressure without forcing play. Playing with a BAS3LINE VEGA racket allows him to train and compete for long hours without compromising performance or risking injury — supporting a style rooted in defence, movement and durability.

Nicolas Larossa
Nico has been playing padel for around six years and has been deeply involved in the sport both on and off the court for over five. He currently competes on the UK circuit while also working as a coach at Rocket Padel Battersea, combining high-level competition with day-to-day coaching experience.
In December 2025, he launched One Bounce, an athleisure brand inspired by padel culture and lifestyle. The project reflects his belief that padel is more than just competition and is rooted in mindset, community and shared values.
On court, Nico competes at Grade 1 and Grade 2 level, with a career-best ranking inside the UK Top 40. His objective is to continue progressing and break back into the Top 100. A left-handed right-side player, his game is built around strong physical conditioning and effective víboras, supported by ongoing work on tactical awareness and decision-making.
Drawn to padel for its welcoming and inclusive community, Nico values how accessible the sport is across ages and abilities. Playing with BAS3LINE rackets, he values the flexibility of different weight options and uses the BAS3LINE Orion for coaching and the BAS3LINE Vega for competition.

Victor Aguirre Miñarro
Victor has been playing padel for many years, first discovering the sport at home in Málaga before continuing his journey across Austria and the UK over the past six years. With experience rooted in padel’s traditional heartland, he brings a natural feel for the game alongside a broad, international perspective.
Alongside competing, Victor is involved in several padel projects, including Performance Padel Clubs, Fast4Padel events and Padelero — a community-focused initiative built around connection and shared experiences through the sport. On court, he competes regularly at Grade 3 and Grade 4 level, with multiple semi-final and final appearances, and plays comfortably on both sides of the court.
His game is defined by strong awareness and decision-making, combining controlled aggression with an instinctive understanding of when to apply pressure. Currently, his training focus is on the physical side of performance, particularly conditioning, strength and footwork. Playing with BAS3LINE rackets allows him to perform at a high level with reduced weight, primarily using the BAS3LINE Orion and Vega for competition, while the BAS3LINE Astra is his racket of choice for coaching.

Brent Gilpin
Known across the UK circuit as The Padel Physio, Brent has been playing padel for almost two years and became fully immersed in the sport from his very first session. With a background in tennis through work in racket-sport events, he brought solid foundations into padel and has since built a dual role as both a competitive player and a trusted performance specialist.
He supports players at major FIP tournaments across the UK and was part of the support team for a Great Britain squad at last year’s European Championships, with further international involvement planned this season. While his focus has often been on helping others perform at their best, 2026 sees a renewed competitive push with longer-term ambitions to climb the rankings.
His game is built around resilience, defence and refusing to give points away. Currently focused on tactics, patterns of play and footwork, he values padel for its inclusive, ego-light culture. Recently switching to the BAS3LINE NOVA, he has embraced the added power it brings to his glass play and kick smash.

Pablo Moreno
Pablo has been playing padel for over 25 years, first picking up the sport in Spain in the early 2000s. With a background in tennis, competing to a strong level from the age of seven through his late teens, he brings deep technical understanding and match awareness to his padel game.
He continues to compete regularly while also working as an LTA Level 2 accredited coach, coaching independently at Padel4all Lockleaze and David Lloyd Westbury. His competitive highlights include winning local events and LTA Level 4 tournaments.
Primarily a backhand-side player, Pablo’s game is built around intelligent point construction, strong game reading and disciplined execution of a clear game plan. His current training focus is on further strengthening his defensive play. Drawn to padel for its unique balance of social connection and competitive edge, he values how the sport brings people together without losing intensity. Playing with a BAS3LINE NOVA racket allows him to maintain performance while managing long-standing tennis elbow, combining smart design with comfort and longevity on court.
