Our Journey

Founded in 2022 by racket sports-injury specialist physio Wesley Teixeira, the journey began with a simple idea: to design and manufacture high performance padel rackets that reduce the risk of common arm injuries.

After testing the market potential with an initial range, Wesley teamed up with a composite engineering PhD student from the University of Wales. Together, they dissected top padel racket brands, testing stress, durability, rebound materials, vibration control, power, weight and sweet spot size.

The key challenge was to deliver a high performance racket with significantly lower weight to reduce stress on the wrist, arm and shoulder.

The lightbulb moment was to remove unnecessary weight from the bridge area of the racket.  Enter our game-changing Hollowbridge™ design.

The design was unconventional and all the initial racket manufacturers declined to even make a prototype. We finally found a small specialist in Spain with expertise in padel racket manufacture and carbon fibre fabrication who solved the problem of how to manufacture a Hollowbridge™ prototype.  After successful product testing with our team of players, coaches and ambassadors, we went on the search for a manufacturer who could produce our rackets at scale.

We are now partnering with a Spanish manufacturer who has been making padel rackets for over 10 years; high-performance is in their DNA – the owner’s brother is currently a top-10 world padel player.

The result is a range of three high quality lightweight performance padel rackets.
